I've truly missed seeing so many of you as I normally would at events,

in person and in my newly opened chambers in Derby.

I have seen those of you that I can as well as filming whenever possible

with a line-up of not only new releases but also new productions planned

for the early part of next year.

I would also like to offer my condolences to all those who have lost loved ones to this virus.

The ongoing pandemic has caused immense pain and suffering,

but it will force us to reconsider who we are and what we value.

And in the long run, it could help us rediscover the better version of ourselves.

Many centuries ago it was written that the first casualty of war is the truth.

As the war on the pandemic has raged, people have become more reliant on social media,

allowing us all to keep in touch across the miles.

The disadvantage of social media has been the increase in disinformation,

imposters and, even from political leaders, downright lies.
